• Spacing is not optional. Proper spacing matters more than most people think. Plant them too tight or too far apart and you fight the hedge for years.

• Trim it regularly. Regular trimming keeps the hedge full from top to bottom instead of leafy on top and bare at the base.

• Use it where privacy actually counts. It works especially well around pools, property lines, and equipment screening.

Don’t judge it on install day

This is the line we repeat most often: don’t judge a Clusia hedge by what it looks like right after installation.
