Living Screens That Look Like Part of the Garden
A well-planned privacy screen does more than block a view. It frames your yard, cuts down on street noise and glare, and makes outdoor spaces feel private and comfortable. Delray Garden Center designs screens that fit the space you have, the height you need and the look of your home.
We choose plants for how dense they grow, how tall they get and how much care they need, then install them at the spacing that will form a solid screen as they mature. Privacy screening is one of the most requested features in our landscape design and installation projects.
Choosing the Right Plants for Privacy
Different spots call for different plants. A narrow side yard needs something upright that won't spread into the walkway, while a long property line may suit a fuller hedge or a mix of palms and shrubs.
Popular choices in Delray Beach include clusia, podocarpus, cocoplum and Simpson's stopper, along with clumping palms for taller screens. We look at sun, wind, salt exposure, soil and irrigation along the screen line before recommending plants, so the screen stays full from top to bottom.
Professional Privacy Hedge Installation
Our crew marks the screen line, prepares the soil and plants at the spacing your screen needs to close in. We adjust or add irrigation so every plant gets steady water while it establishes, then mulch and edge the bed for a clean finish.
Larger plants give privacy sooner, while smaller plants cost less and fill in over time. We'll talk through the trade-off during your consultation.
Privacy Screens for Delray Beach Homes and Estates
Homeowners ask us to screen pools, patios, outdoor showers, neighboring windows and busy streets.
On larger estates and waterfront properties, we plan screens that keep privacy where you want it while preserving water and garden views. Every design considers your property's layout and how the screen will look from both sides.
